You simply record a short video of your handpan playing, share your question, and within five working days you’ll receive a personalized lesson video – including a PDF with exercises. This way you get guidance that fits you exactly, whenever and wherever it suits you.

How does the process work?

When you click [Request your lesson video], you’ll be redirected to the payment page.
There you can enter your own price between €40 and €60.
Add your email address and complete the payment using iDeal, Apple Pay, or another method.
After a successful payment, you’ll be taken straight to the upload page. (If you’re not ready to upload right away, you’ll also receive the link by email.)
Record a short video of your handpan playing and upload it through the link.
I’ll review your video and question, then create a personalized video lesson for you.
You’ll receive a private link to your video lesson and a PDF with exercises.

What does “personalized” mean?

Personalized truly means made for you.
No automated or pre-recorded content — every Play & Reply video is unique.
I record a custom video where I explain what I see and hear in your playing and where I think your next steps lie.
Then I demonstrate exercises from a top-down view, so you can clearly see what I’m doing and play along from home (or anywhere).
The exercise is also written out in a PDF, so you can practice it even without the video.

How often can I watch my video lesson?

As often as you like.
Your video will be available online via a private, unlisted link.

How should I record my video?

The easiest way is to use your smartphone.
It doesn’t matter if it’s horizontal or vertical — as long as I can clearly see and hear how you play.
Your face doesn’t need to be in the frame if you prefer not to; your hands and the handpan are enough.

What happens to my video?

I completely understand that recording yourself can feel a bit uncomfortable.

The only thing I do with your video is watch it to create your personalized lesson.
After that, it’s deleted permanently.
